DID Vocal Stemming

So I belong to a DID Reddit group and some of my posts on this blog will be from that group including some of the responses without the usernames attached for their safety.

DID vocal stemming

Hello just trying to figure out if the vocal stemming is actually one of the Alters talking or if it's ADHD or some Venn Diagram thereof?

So there's times when out of nowhere the System will start talking and it's either in a different accent or it'll just be singing without any music on. They're had also been mentions of random noises coming out without any cognition. Like a random a quack, or that "farting" noise you do with your lips, etc.

Right now one of the Alters is speaking with an African American southern accent. It's not sure where that is coming from?

So any of you do this?

I will say things out loud and it feels like a thought that is not mine escaping my lips. Making noises or singing as a conscious choice because it feels good and stimmy feels different than an intrusion to me"

"I've lately noticed asking questions out loud and answering them in a slightly different time of voice and once I was hearing that from the pov of a third and it was so clearly a vibrating between two that I was gobsmacked. I have done that my entire life. If you were listening through a door you'd think it was two people, because the inflection is so different. How do the people around me not know? Or do they? With my family I definitely feel like the last to know."

So not vocal as much as internal stimming + the physical head bopping and swaying to the beat 💀💀

My overly excitable Teen alters also pick up on brainrot way too fast to my liking. I cringe SO hard sometimes."
